Gracious wording,gracious
love. May loves lily
which is a sign of her tranquility and purity, yet she designed
carefully to entrap Newland in her seeming"innocence",Ellen's
appeal for divorce triggered a series of conflicts in the upper
class.Newland was
involved and his awareness of his mental fetter was aroused by
Ellen's gallant revolt against the convention and geteel society..
“It's more real to me here than if I went up”,he suddenly
heard himself say;and the fear lest that the last shadow of
reality should lose its edge kept him rooted to his seat as the
minutes succeeded each other.
He sat for a long time on the bench in the thickening dust, his
eyes never turning from the balcony……”
poems which I decide to savor them with every effort.
之前高个外教有特别解读分析过他的一首诗,回来成为很爆炸性的新闻,原因是这首诗ee.cumming made use of experimental device to allude to the whole procedure of sex..
里面有一首试“somewhere i have never travelled,gladly beyond”我初读觉得很delicate and elegant.
。artistic and creative.that's the precise
qualities of a poet..isn't it??
I'll never feel lonely..
